“When Joan Didion’s slouching toward Bethlehem entered the literary scene in 1968, I devoured it. ”

Linda Q. Lambert has recently added the Q to her name to
honor the Quinbys who adopted her, and to avoid alliterative
overkill. In the late ’90s, she was LLL the Lesbian Librarian of
La Conner. She has completed an MFA from the University of
Southern Maine and is spending her retired life doing what she’s
always wanted: writing. She is the mother of four sons and three
daughters, and relies heavily on her wife Amory’s editorial advice.
